Team Director, Kristi Toguchi
KRISTI TOGUCHI is a collaborating member of FUTUREHUMAN®. Kristi is a world-class entertainer and coach who combines an eclectic blend of performing arts into a uniquely creative style of entertainment recognized throughout the world. Kristi has been featured in national and international venues performing for television broadcasts, corporate clients, and non-profit organizations. Kristi is a 3rd generation magician, Aerial Acrobat, Contortionist, Dancer, and Taiko Drummer and performs unique acts such as the Las Vegas Duo "The Femmes."
Kristi received talent awards from the Society of American Magicians and the International Brotherhood of Magicians. She won the Lady Magician of the Century Award in Hong Kong and the Outstanding Showmanship Award in Japan. Kristi started her journey as the resident magician at the Pacific Beach Hotel in Hawaii while attending High School. She toured as a featured performer with the Pendragons Magical Theatre Company, Lindley Lopez Circus, Fern Street Circus, Tableau, and many more.
Kristi danced with San Diego Dance Theater and choreographed and performed with the San Diego Opera production "Turandot" and Westcoast Contortion as the resident aerialist at Tao Night Club in the Venetian Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. Sony selected Kristi to represent the "Sony Moving Project," where she appeared on televisions across the nation in Sony Stores. Kristi trained at the Mid Pacific School of the arts-Hawaii, Alvin Ailey School of Dance-New York, Sophia Isadora Academy of Circus Arts-San Diego, and Flexible Body Art-Las Vegas. She is a native of Hawaii and holds a dance degree from the University of California, San Diego.
Kristi's talent reaches beyond the stage and the performing arts; she is the owner of the "Aerial Fitness School" in Las Vegas, Nevada, coaching and sharing her knowledge. Her students have become professional performers touring in national and international companies. Kristi has students who have performed for the Olympics, cruise lines, television, and the Motley Crue tour. In contrast, others have advanced to attend the prestigious Ecole National Circus School.
